What happens on the tour?
Step into the world of Health Sciences at Blinn’s Simulation Lab in the Academic Complex. On this guided tour, you’ll experience the same cutting-edge spaces where our students train every day—sometimes with real life patients stopping by to help our students gain hand on experience!
HiFi & Lofi Skills Labs – See high-fidelity mannequins that are cutting edge! Giving students realistic practice for stressful scenarios. You’ll also check out low-fidelity models used for mastering basics like IV starts and wound care.
Apartment Home Lab – Walk through an apartment where EMT and Nursing students practice caring for patients in a home health environment, learning how to adapt outside of a hospital setting.
Surgical Technology Lab – Step inside a simulated operating room where students prepare for real surgeries—setting up sterile fields, handling surgical instruments, and working as part of the OR team.
Anatomage Table – Explore our life-sized, 3D virtual cadaver table. Rotate organs, zoom in on systems, and even see how students use its quiz mode to test their knowledge.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Lab – Tour a therapy gym outfitted with rehab and exercise equipment where students learn techniques to help patients regain mobility and strength.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Lab – Walk into an emergency-care training room complete with stretchers, ambulance gear, and supplies that prepare students for high-pressure rescue situations.
Radiologic Technology Lab – Visit a working X-ray suite where students train with imaging equipment and learn how to safely capture medical images.

Before you tour, you’ll meet with a Health Science advisor to talk about your program options, prerequisites, and next steps—so everything you see on the tour connects directly to your goals.

- Where can I park?
There are free visitor parking spots in the circle drive, located in front of the Blinn-RELLIS Administration Building (The building with the flag poles in front). Space is limited, please plan accordingly.
You may also park in lot 1000, across the street from the Blinn- Administration building. The address is 3100 TX-47, Bryan, TX, 77807. This parking lot is owned by TAMU Transportation and vehicles will be ticketed if you have not paid for parking. To pay for parking please visit Pay Hourly Parking by Phone. The RELLIS code is 7743.
For a map of the RELLIS campus, please visit RELLIS Parking Map - for free parking please park in front of the Blinn RELLIS Administration Building (BLRA) building. It will be the building with flag poles.
- Who will I meet with, and where do I go?
You will meet with Sharon Glover in the Walter C. Schwartz Building (SCHW) on the RELLIS Campus, where you’ll go to the 4th floor and look for the doors labeled “Faculty Offices,” and you can use the linked parking map to help you find the building.
- Is there anything I should know before I attend?
- Please bring a copy or email a copy of your unofficial transcripts if you are not a current Blinn Student.
- Please bring or have access to your Blinn ID.
- If you plan on registering for classes with me, please bring a laptop or a way to access your MyBLINN.
- Check the weather before your visit. We do go outside for a little while to go from the SCHW building to the Academic Complex, so you may need sunglasses or an umbrella.
