Event Details

Mary Wallace and Athena are brave, and seventeen, and fencers, and training for the Junior Olympics. They practice together, they compete against each other, they spend their lives together. They wish they were friends. Athena is a dramatic comedy about sport, competition, ambition, and friendship. When in direct competition with each other, can these two Junior Olympic hopefuls put the competition aside and embrace their friendship? Or does their camaraderie disappear once they step onto the piste? How can you be someone’s friend when their loss is your gain?
