Brenham Campus Theatre Arts Presents: Little Shop of Horrors

Some plants just need a little water and sunlight. Audrey II needs something else entirely.

Seymour Krelborn is a mild-mannered floral assistant at a struggling skid row flower shop, hopelessly in love with his coworker Audrey and going nowhere fast. Then he discovers a strange and unusual plant, names it after the girl of his dreams, and watches his luck begin to change. Audrey II brings customers through the door, puts Seymour's name in the papers, and promises him everything he's ever wanted. There's just one small condition: she needs to be fed. And water won't cut it.

What follows is a deliriously funny, thoroughly disreputable, and absolutely irresistible ride through ambition, romance, and the consequences of wanting more than you bargained for. With an iconic R&B-infused score by the creative team behind Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, Little Shop of Horrors has been devouring audiences for over 30 years, and it shows no signs of stopping.
